Default Take it for what it's worth...

SC is about to put the full court press on Manti. A promising LB (Chris Gallipo) has gone down once again to a herniated disk; he sat out last season due to the injury and it looks like it hasn't healed properly and is headed back to the OR. It potentially is a career ender.

If Gallipo can't make it back and SC about to lose 4 LB's after next season (2 starters), Manti will get even more attention from Ken Norton and PC.

Possible chance to start in '10 on a stacked team with a game in Columbus against the Bucks, a homestand against Virgina and a roader to South Bend, along with the PAC X schedule.......might be a hard one to turn down.

Stuff like this used to bother me. Until I realized I am going to heaven and you are not.

Looks like Kaveinga may have made the right choice as well. Galippo was the number 1 highschool player in America he was an absolute beast in the US Army game. I have been saying all along Manti is going to USC.

The right choice in football, or the right choice in the eternal perspective?

That sucks about Gallipo.

I am confused by the scheduling you listed above, though. Next year (2009), we play Ohio State in Ohio. In 2010, we play ND at home....we play in South Bend in odd years. The Virginia game we play at home in 2010. Unfortunately, next season SC plays San Jose State to open up (lame).

We also open the 2010 season AT Hawaii, so that will basically be a nice road trip.

He'll end up at BYU either way. After all, what does South Carolina have to offer?

My fault...it was late, I got my schedules mixed up.

Based on what I have read in TBS, this kid truly has his priorities in order. He will come to BYU for the spirit.
