Default Anyone else like both Obama and McCain?

I think I'm in a different spot than many people. I keep reading things like "I don't like McCain, but I will reluctantly pull the lever for him to stop Obama". I am different, I like both candidates. Both are flawed in some ways, but I really like both of them. I support Obama, and am very excited about his potential, but I have to say that I prefer McCain to any candidate of the last two elections. I will be somewhat upset if Obama loses, but more for the (IMO) lost promise, rather than because of McCain being there (sometimes, I really wish that McCain had been President at the time of 9/11).

So does anyone else feel this way, or am I just odd?

You are an unprincipled ignoramus. But in a pleasant, non-threatening, likeable way.

Thanks Mike! Appreciate the feedback. It is as useful as it is specific.

mikewaters is very tex-like. He has yet to state his candidate of choice.

We knew he did NOT like Mitt. He has sometimes supported Obama, but as of the Palin announcement, he is channeling his inner lesbian and heralding Palin as the top candidate.

Ask mikewaters to name his horse now. I bet he won't. No guts.....but also no risk. This way, he can complain and assume his proletariat role through November.

No sweat for me, because as long as he keeps posting, I have new material.

he's trying to ask why the mosaic in your avatar is of a Trojan saluting. He doesn't follow football much, perhaps.

Oh....I get it. He meant "why," not "shy."

I thought he was trying to wax poetic.

SU, it does look a bit Hitler-esque. The top part of the mural is cut off. He is raising a sword.

I thought it was quite poetic, too. I was actually curious where the phrase was headed.
