The Obama camp should be thrilled so far. The Palin discussion from the McCain campaign has been largely defensive.
The experience issue cuts both ways. Yes, Obama can't complain of her lack of experience. But neither can McCain criticize Obama's lack of experience.

McCain, the Republican Presidential candidate, has more experience than Obama, the Demotard Presidential candidate.

Obama was 8 pts ahead after his convention. Everyone figured it would be at least that or more. It is 6-8 now, so I don't get how the Palin pick has hurt McCain in the polls.
Next, you better believe the base is more enthused about this pick than they would have been with most other picks. You don't always excite the voter with the most qualified person. Obama has proven that. |

White voters:
So far, this is the movement we've seen among white voters since the Palin announcement. McCain has picked up considerable support from GOP women, but lost support among Independent and Democratic women, and lost support among men. This was all I ever tried to assert. Not that Palin is bad politician or whatever. Simply that she would cost McCain as much support as she would draw to him. It's too early to know, of course, but perhaps I'm not completely off base. |

Plus, let me ask you a different question: do you think this movement among GOP and Dem women would've been different had McCain picked (his reputed 2nd choice) Pawlenty? Romney?
