you should have poked fun at me for identifying Waters' post as a troll and then obliging him.

Michigan has an excuse. New system, etc. Also, it doesn't have a decimated program that's been trying to recover for seven years. It has a good coach taking over from a great coach a program that the last seven years has been very strong.

Occasionally there is talk questioning how well BYU would perform in the PAC-10. Now we know that a BYU team that is on a three-year upswing is a blocked kick better than 6-7 UCLA and 4-9 Washington.

So there you have it.

The Big Ten is certainly looking quite formidable this year, what with Ohio State only trailing that perennial powerhouse Ohio for three of the four quarters.

I'm guessing TD is counting down the hours til next weekend's kickoff.

That is the thing that the penalty controversy obscures. BYU is a point better than a PAC 10 bottom dweller. Still, should be good enough to win most of the rest of their games. Its not like the rest of the conference is better. I think this year's game will be pretty interesting. We are pretty mistake prone so far, but I think that our offense will score 6-7 times on that defense. Hopefully tds and not field goals. I think our defense will have a lot of trouble with Unga. We are very fast, but no real big (size wise) hitters.

UW may only win three games this season. Think about that.

Check their schedule...

Seven TD's? Seriously?

If we were in the Pac 10, we would recruit better.

I think you are right about the 6-7 scores. Three touchdowns and three field goals=33 points. Problem is I think BYU will score in the 40's against Utah. The run defense looked really weak against Frank The Tank for the second straight year. Unga and Vakapuna will eat them up all day. My early prediction is BYU 42-Utah 37 if Utah is +2 in turnovers. 49-27 if turnovers are even. Utah's defense is WAY overrated. And yes, BYU's defense sucks, too.

A win is a win my friend. We also know that BYU is a late TD better than the Utes the past 2 years.

BYU would get a few more recruits that we lose to PAC 10 schools. This would make BYU better. I don't think it would change too much. Of course, a few more players in key position could make a big difference

That Washington team is not good. They were very lucky though. They got every bounce. BYU sure beat the crap out of them physically, though. How many injuries did they have?
