I've written both my Senators asking them to vote against the bill.

I'm sure they will vote for it.

This may be the first time you have read it in print because you live somewhere where a house appreciates more slowly than the inflation rate. Here in CA where the appreciation has been ridiculous, many people have talked the need for prices to come down. They have even been willing to print these opinions.
