Take a look at this MA election map from the NYTimes (it's a Flash app).

Not a single county in the state voted more Democratic than in 2008, and a huge chunk of the state voted as much as 15-20% less. That's really stunning.

And then I've heard reports that Brown won Hyannisport, home of the Kennedy clan, and the home district of Barney Frank. Wow! Maybe that realization has something to do with his suddenly contrite tone.

I'm not sure the full repercussions of this election have been fully felt yet. Something tells me it's going to go beyond just the health care bill.
