To me, Utah winning is a big no brainer.

BYU losing is also a no brainer.
I'm not a betting man either, but if I did put money on Utah winning, I would be punished for thinking about gambling and Utah would lose.

I believe the Utes can beat Arizona, but not Wake Forrest.

As for BYU, it would depend on how athletic A&M is and whether or not Tavernari is allowed to touch the ball. The more shots Tavernari is allowed to take, the greater the chances for BYU to lose.

Nothing to see here. Utah will beat Arizona easily.

Arizona is like Georgetown this year, loaded with talent and underachieving in a tough environment.

What this means is Utah is virtual BCS. BYU, on the other hand, is like Utah State; outside the cliques that count. BYU has no cool points.
It isn't cool points. Utah may have gotten a gift, but they did win the conference regular season and tournament. They also clobbered the SEC champs and beat a Gonzaga team the committee really liked. Don't degrade your own team by claiming their seed has nothing to do with what they actually accomplished on the court.

I've not seen Utah play, nor Arizona, so I can't comment on their relative merits other than what the bookies say, and what the seeding says.

The seeding says Utah should win. The bookies say Az should win.
The pointspread has nothing to do with bookies thinking AZ is a better team. It's about the betting public favoring AZ. Bookies only care about setting a line that attracts equal money to each team. And who knows why the betting public thinks AZ is better. They probably don't get the mtn. Utah will win easiliy. AZ isn't very good.

The bookies' line is what's required to bring in about even money on the teams. Arizona is more popular than Utah so more will bet on Arizona unless you're giving points. And I agree Utah flew under the radar.
