Default Colorado now officially to Pac-10

this does keep the scenario alive where Utah also joins the Pac-10.

The primary factor here is what the Univ. of Texas decides to do.

It seems like the Pac 10 is the most likely of SEC, Big 10, and Pac 10.

I suppose it is possible that BYU could replace Colorado in the Big 12, and Utah join Colorado in the Pac 10. Which was kind of a scenario that I have discussed forever.

We shall see.

My prediction for BYU: not going anywhere.

It looks like the Pac-10 is saying that in the worst case scenario (no Big 12 South migration, no change in the rule for a championship game) adding Utah will be acceptable.

I tend to side with you that BYU will not go anywhere. I would love to see Big 12, but hesitant to let myself believe that BYU is at the top of their list.

So, the Big 12 now has ten teams while the Big 10 has twelve teams?

Big XII minus II, will soon be a forgotten conference, just like the Southwest Conference.

Texans have no loyalty to tradition.

Texas Tech, OU and OSU, follow big Daddy Texas to Pac whatever; does Ta&M go to Pac 20, or head over to SEC? That's the only question.

My bet is Pac 20.

MWC will pick up the Kansas schools and maybe Mizzou. I'm kinda surprised the PAC wanted TTech and Oklahoma State.
