At this point, I'm not certain BYU is quite that good. By the end of the season, it may be, but it has a lot of work to do on the inside linebackers and with consistency on offense.

The two QBs thing worked Saturday, I don't believe it's going to be able to work all season, especially against tougher defenses. Washington made a lot of mistakes that led to BYU scores, and if our defense hadn't made some really big stops, BYU loses that game. I'm sure people who watched that game weren't convinced that either team deserves rankings just yet. If BYU can beat AF and at least play respectable against FSU, it'll change things but just one game doesn't tell us much.
Heaps is going to be a monster quarterback after a little development. I hope the plan is to firm him up by game 6 or 7 and only bring in Riley on special offensive plays. I like him but Heaps has an NFL caliber arm.
