Default Mike, others are noting your observation on Jimmer

He seems to have dead legs now. I hope he can rejuvenate himself.

I would not be surprised to find out, later down the road, that Jimmer has been injured.

Knee tendonitis. Pulled groin. Gimpy hamstring. (3 of my personal favorites).

Are you being sarcastic, or serious?

I'm just saying he may have a nagging injury that limits his explosiveness, but is not bad enough to prevent him from playing. And they don't want to say anything to anyone about it, because it's not in anyone's interest to do so.

He missed practice this afternoon, and the full story was finally reported to the evening news.

http://www.deseretnews.com/article/7...eg-injury.html

Quote:
As BYU heads into perhaps its biggest regular-season week in history, star guard Jimmer Fredette is nursing a leg injury. He did not practice Monday due to a left calf contusion, which he suffered in the Cougars' 79-56 victory at TCU last Saturday.

"It has kind of been stiff and bothering him," BYU coach Dave Rose said of the injury, adding that Fredette "took a real shot" in the TCU game and that "he's been icing (the leg) all weekend, but it's really sore and he couldn't go (Monday)."
