Good news from scheduling
http://byucougars.com/m-football/byu...savannah-state
Stanford is even four-game series, although it's far off in the future (begins 2020). We have one-game with Savannah St in Provo. They are a historically-black college; we should have given them a HH out of respect, IMO.

Stanford will take the first two games and cancel the next two. At the very least, they will cancel one.
I wish we would schedule games with teams from conferences that might actually theoretically deign to accept us into their conference. Screw Stanford. |

Very good insight about Stanford cancelling one or both of the Provo games. However, I believe Stanford has played in Provo, but perhaps my memory is faulty. Wasn't that Crowton's infamous, "I wanted to win by six or more" comment?

Props to BYU for upgrading their opponents. At first the Independent slate was filled with WAC teams, but now they make scheduling the PAC12 look relatively easy.
That could be a good slogan: BYU. We are of the PAC12, just not in the PAC12. |

Never doubted BYU would schedule, we just need to win more often.
