technical writing
I am writing up a scientific paper, and man is it tough to write in science-ese!
So while you guys are merrily writing your shorts stories and great american novels, just know I am slaving over stuff that will work you over like Nyquill! |

The key to writing a scientific paper...
is to use scientific jargon ie. "In theory..."; "hence"; "ad nauseum"; - stuff like that. (I just realized the "ie" is good too.) Also, use lots of semi-colons and hyphenated words.
Oh yeah, I just remembered the best one to use: "Dad says...". Nobody can rightfully challenge what one's father thinks, unless one's father teaches French at the collegiate level.
