I was watching the Ute game and missed the first 5 min. When I changed over to the Office, Dwight was in the parking lot talking to Jan. What happened before that?

his girl in the office told him to ask Jan to make him the manager to save the branch. Dwight says he can't betray Michael. Of course he changes his mind.

Before that, they are having their "movie day" or whatever, watching Varsity Blues for 30min, when Jan comes in and busts them.
