As far as I'm concerned, U2 died after Joshua Tree.

I believe Joshua Tree killed U2. I haven't liked any of their stuff since Unforgettable Fire.

You guys are insane (no offense). I know it's fashionable to say that U2 died with Joshua Tree but you know that's not true. "One" is one of the best songs written in the past 20 years. You don't like that song and you've got no soul. No soul I tell ya.

I don't remotely worship at the U2 alter, but I agree that One is one of the best songs of the last 20 years. I have it in rotation on my Ipod and it is one of my faves to play on the guitar.

Only after Joshua Tree did U2 become listenable.

You must be a bit on the young side.

Currently in my truck's disc changer I got Jay-Z Black Album, TI King, and The Game Doctor's Advocate, Documentary, and Untold Story. I love The Game.
Gotta pretty much agree with that, except I like 50. And if you could care less about 50, then why don't you? Sorry, but 50 can flow.

I did go see Snoop when he came to Utah in 2005 with the Game. It was such a sick concert. It was also like one huge Hot Box. There were times I could barely see the stage the smoke was so thick. But Snoop came with so much energy, when he said "throw your m-f-ing hands in the air" you didn't think twice, your hands were up in the air throwin' down a 'dub'. My favorite song from that concert he did Makeavelli's (or, if you want to be honest, 2Pac's) "Hail Mary" as a tribute. It was sick. Snoop just went on for like an hour and a half to 2 hours straight... definitely awesome.

Jay-Z, Biggie, LL are cool, and I do love my Beastie Boys as well... but when it comes down to it, please let me quote:

"Throw it up y'all, throw it up, Throw it up
Let's show these fools how we do this on that west side
Cause you and I know it's tha best side"

West Coast Rap is King.

I am checking out his MySpace page right now, and the kid can flow. I like... any songs you'd recommend checking out? Fus? Surfah?
