To me, the system must be pure if they wish for the riders to be pure.

I imagine a large portion are following similar routines, but I believe Landis is as clean as the next guy.

It stinks though that results can be leaked. Something makes no sense when an embattled lab has a direct link to the media leaking private information. And the French are no sticklers for ethics.

Unfortunately, thats exactly the problem for me. He may be as clean as the next guy, who just pumped himself full of a unit of packed red blood cells, EPO and epitestosterone.

I'm really just trying to weed out all the fast guys and make way for me to win the Tour next year.

Can you guys name a single cyclist that has been accused and copped to cheating right away? I can't. Watch out for the black helicopters guys.

I could be wrong, but aside from Track & Field,,,isn't cycling considered to have the largest doping problem amongst sport out there?

Not right away but Millar did when faced with the evidence, and there was the domestique from spain (or maybe Italy) who did a few years ago and has made a career out of traveling around Europe selling his book on cheating in cycling. He admitted it pretty quickly. My point is not that they should admit it, but it is one thing to say "I never cheated" and then retire or avoid the spotlight and never push the point (like Ullrich) it is another to claim to be clean and then go around asking for cash to pursue your defense. Landis would not seem like that sort of cheeky, but one never knows.

It is not hard to imagine the French as cheaters, either, as Arch points out. and more info will need ot come out about these B sample tests before we can really conclude anyting, but, again, one never knows.

I would have thought it was the LPGA.

Think I'm nuts in saying that? Michelle Wie is in high school and she averages more than 280 yard off the tee.

Ok, I know you're going to ask how in the dickens I know this, so I'll tell you why. I had to google the info to back up my claim that the LPGA is all about doping and juicing the ball, ok?

As for Landis, if he cheated and got away with it, good for him. We Americans are all about being the best at everything. It's not our fault if France cheats and still loses.

Wusses.

If Landis really is innocent, then I feel really really bad for brother floyd. That said, I think he is guilty. I imagine 95% of pro cyclists are juicing...
