The problem is, some idiot always spoils that. We go out for a LSD of 120, and somebody gets the wild idea, that 20 mph is too slow. Next thing you know the group ride blows apart and you're out in the desert with nobody.

I've found that you almost always have to do your LSD alone. Otherwise you're riding at the fastest guy's LSD pace which might keep you out of your target range.

It's probably best to not do LSD at all. I hear it can stay in your system for years and years then at the worst possible moment, you could have a bad trip.
