Default My legs are toast...

I'm worried about being able to hang with Q, Borg, Pride and Arch so I've been hitting the road pretty heavy this week and my legs are dead. It's no wonder the pros feel like they need extra help to complete a tour.

I'm tapering for next week, did only 56, as keeping with a former pro in Viking is making worried. Also did 14 running. I doubt I'll race fast next weekend.

Whenever you say "former pro" it makes me laugh. I'm just an old man, on an old bike trying to keep it upright.

You are the bra inventor and a master racer, former Cat 1, so the rest of us are in awe of the vastness of your expertise. Only Goose's national class brother can hold a candle to you, unless the former status of Creekster is resurrected.

So former local pro is an appropriate designation.

I'm a bit worn today as well. Nothing huge yesterday, as my ride time was only an hour and 20 minutes, but 60 of those minutes were climbing fairly hard. Those 16,000 feet of climbing at the Death Ride in 2 weeks are haunting me day and night.
