Ditto on The Interpeter for me. Every time I almost rent it, and then remember just how boring and predictable everyone tells me it is.

Interpreter is okay, but nothing above average.

I liked the Firefly movie better.

The Jacket is pretty good...relatively suspensful...the interpreter is good if you are willing to make the time committment to being bored for a while.

The Interpreter made me remember Africa, if nothing else. It's an accurate portrayal and captures the feeling of the continent well.

Same for me. I think that the allure of this movie for most was the fact that Nicole Kidman & Sean Penn were in it. The plot & writing are very average and the whole thing becomes boring about halfway through.
