His "posting model" is what other parents should follow: post links to your kid's news stories and then not participate in any discussions.

It is pretty amazing that we can so easily shrug off the leading rusher of BYU history as though we won't miss him.
but he didn't go on a mission, how can I respect him?

Is there some reason you have to be a troll 100% of the time?

Honestly curtis was good but I dont think we will miss him all that much thats the way it is. He was never good enough to get 100% of the carries he was always splitting carries whether it be with Fahu and then with Fui and Manase. Durability is a little preparation and a lot of luck. Curtis had both. I wish him luck, i dont think he makes the NFL, and i think the all-time leading rusher at BYU is not much to get excited about 3100 yards is not that great if you ask me.

We will see. I think we will greatly miss his pass catching ability coming out of the backfield.

There is one word that describes what was "missing" with Curtis vs. other great backs. Explosiveness. With Staley, Jenkins, etc. you held your breath every time they got the ball because you knew there was a chance they'd break off a huge run. Curtis did that occasionally, but you didn't expect it.

We will miss his durability, and he was dependable. You are underselling him.

He's undersold Staley and Brown, so I'm curious if he was high on any BYU RB ever.

Easy answer: they are not poly.

CJ's world revolves around what? Polys.

I completely agree with this. I never think of him as being that great because he seemed slow. I went back this morning and watched some of Garn's videos and when he broke one it was exciting, but he never pulled away. Staley was so fast you always felt if he got through the line.... he was gone. It is to bad he wasn't durable.... I really thought he could do something in the NFL. I went to the Doak Walker award banquet this year, and was thinking about the year he won it. He kind of won it on a fluke due to the guy from UCLA getting arrested... but I think he deserved it. My firm sponsers the legends award, and we have a bunch of Doak Walker Award footballs in the lobby. I keep wanting to walk off with the Staley ball. He was one of the best backs I have seen in person. Crazy to see a white boy that fast.
