Arch, I remember you were just about apoplectic last season after the second game. Remember when you wrote the entire season off? Don't be too hard on Junkie, all of us have our moments.

Curtis wasn't as good as Staley in his prime. Not as good as Ronnie Jenkins at his best. Not as good as Jamal Willis at his best--but closer.

Fui probably showed more explosion and raw athletic talent on some runs than Brown ever did.

But still, if I could have Curtis back for this year, I'd trade him for Fui or any other back on the team. I might even trade him for any two backs--Fui + Tonga or Unga.

Throwing in Tonga is too much. I'd probably take Brown over Fui straight up because Brown is so dependable, despite being less talented than Fui. Tonga was as important to our success last year as anyone. He's a great all-around player. Hopefully we don't lose to AZ because Tonga is sitting.

Junkie's fine and will survive. No need to rag on Curtis though.

Yeah, I remember that. He swore off BYU football forever. Lasted about a week as I recall.
