I also agree with higher thresholds on things like self-incrimination and search and seizure for citizens than non-citizens.

I was speaking more in general terms than just specifically of torture, but if that's all you care about, Indy more or less sums it up. I might broaden it a little by calling it "due process" but it's more or less that same thing.

So then you agree that torture is not permitted of any human being, whether they are American or not (given that you appear to have just attempted to explain the differences between how McVeigh should have been treated v. al-Qaeda and never mentioned torture).
