We currently have several BCS schools on future schedules. Bronco's said he doesn't want more than two on the schedule, and since we have at least two for quite a few years out, we're not attempting to get more. |

Holmoe has said privately that most of the BCS schools....the marquee ones.....they do NOT want to play us OOC. Look at who the B10, SEC, and Big12 schedule OOC.....they play fringe D1 teams because they feel that their conference is tough enough without having to play the likes of BYU OOC every year. The Pac 10 gets credit for at least scheduling decent OOC games (not all, but many do)....and look what they get for it this year.....they get embarassed because they hit us in an up year while they were in a down year. BCS ADs dont want to deal with that. They want to go into conference play with no losses. You need to stop looking at it from Holmoe's perspective and look at it from the BCS perspective. For the most part, they don't need to schedule us.

Of course there are some top BCS programs (USC) that take on all comers, but they are a dying breed. |

I would love to see the data, honestly.
Our criteria.. 1. Top, or at least respectable BCS conference opponent (sorry, Arizona) 2. That same desired BCS opponent has a history of strong or at least fairly decent OOC scheduling Who are these teams? We have played some and continue to play a few here and there. Are you saying you want the scheduling to get better or stay the same? Maybe I am missing your point, so just want to be sure.
