I have visions of the Vegas Bowl becoming what the Holiday Bowl has become, which is a second to third tier bowl. IMO, the Holiday Bowl owes a lot to the WAC (in large part due to BYU's success in the '80s) for getting them off the ground, and hopefully the MWC can help the Vegas Bowl get there. They need to move the date (shouldn't be too difficult), offer a bigger payout (not too difficult), and get a better opponent for the MWC (very difficult).

Brian where did I say it would be a cakewalk? I am in the camp that believes if Utah is 0-11 and BYU is 11-0 entering the rivalry game it will still be close, and vice versa.

But to say that Utah is peaking and BYU is not is just idiotic. I could see if BYU was coming off of a loss or had a worse record. But they have both won 6 straight and BYU still has the better overall record, including being undefeated in conference.
