to resort to the insult of "you're a zoob", than Cougs are to call one of their own a "ute". Why?
We call our own SoBs what they are. I know I'm opening this one up for some obvious comments, but perhaps a serious comment will ensue.

I can only offer my personal insight on this issue. The name calling by fans on both sides is immature at best. Each fanbase is guilty and some go too far. What is interesting to me as a former athlete is that most of the players at both schools like and respect each other. Members of the Utah and BYU softball teams have typically played together since the age of eight and are good friends. I have nothing but respect for the BYU sports programs. Sometimes it is the fans that get in the way.

Perhaps because it's a bigger insult to call someone a zoob than a dumbass?
