drive slow enough that you have to pass them then punch it to prevent you from being able to get back in the lane, why do you do that?

To the people who go 20+ MPH above the speed limit in the fast lane that try to pass people that are going 5 to 10 MPH above the speed limit and try to wedge themselves into the space between them and the car in front of them that is going the same speed as they are and is at the proper following distance, why do you do that?

I have nothing against moving over for someone going faster than me if there's no one in front of me.

I have everything against someone tailgating me or trying to squeeze past me from the right when there are a dozen cars in front of me going the same speed I am.

I believe it is unintentional. I've noticed that those who do it are just trying to go with the flow of traffic and feel the increase in speed from your passing.

I'm still having a hard time understanding why anyone would do it, but thanks for being honest.

Maybe there is something to the "Utah drivers" stigma.
