Default Avraham Gileadi...

I ran across this and found it interesting.

http://ldspatriot.blogspot.com/2006/...tament_13.html

The idea that we are in a great process of creation, rebirth, and change.

It's all heresy to the Christian world. And maybe to some Mormons as well.

Default Gileadi is cutting edge on Isaiah

Virtually everything I have read that tried to give insight to Isaiah is total crap. Gileadi is the only one I have found quite compelling. As far as I can tell no one is at his level on Isaiah studies. Your view of Isaiah will change forever if you read Gileadi. Nibley stated that one of Gileadi's books was everything you ever want to know about the second coming but were too lazy to figure out for yourself.

For those of us not only too lazy to figure it out for ourselves, but also too lazy to sift through all of his works, which one or two books of his would you recommend? Amazon shows about 15 titles by him.

Assume the worst. That's what Mormons like to do. Character-assassination is a sport in the church when it comes to excommunication.

Actually, I'm hoping for the best. I like the guy. In fact, I buy his God = Man + Woman theory. I'm hoping he wasn't ex'd for that.

This is just hearsay, but either right before he was exed, or right after he was exed, I had an acquaintance who knew him, who said that he had gotten a cult-like following, and that while he hadn't encouraged it, he hadn't discouraged it either.

That doesn't really tell us anything about why he was exed, but it may help explain the millieu he was living in.
