Default Is it really about religion part III

I'm not writing these articles ...

"A few days ago, Miami Herald columnist Dan Le Batard stated on ESPN and in the newspaper that part of the reason fired coach Cam Cameron failed was because he got stuck with a Mormon quarterback"

What does Beck's religion have to do with anything? Why mention it? Is there some pathological need to repeatedly identify any LDS NFL player by their faith?

We wear our religion on our sleeve. We want people to talk about our missions.

You can't have it both ways. There was a recent link to an article praising Beck, yet cracking a joke about hoping that Beck would rub his magic underwear.

Was that anti-Mormon?

At least Cameron wasn't stuck with a black quarterback when they dealt Culpepper away.

I'm wondering aloud, with this and two other posts, if the underlying issues for the excuse making as to why people can't vote for 'the' Moromon candidate is because he is Mormon and not because they cannot relate to him or he's a poor communicator etc.

so in the gallup poll just conducted where Romney only got 9% of the GOP, are you suggesting that 81% are anti-Mormon?

I don't believe that.

Evangelicals are voting for their Baptist preacher. Rich people overwhelmingly voted for Romney. Unfortunately for Romney, there aren't as many rich people as evangelicals, at least in Iowa.

To what degree there is distaste for Romney's Mormonism, and his pandering to the religious right, I'm not sure. His pandering to the religious right, for example, has bothered me.
