Further evidence that there is an anti-mormon bias out there.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.

He just has so many opportunities for this country and doesn't want to see us take a step back. I'm sure it's hard.

Wouldn't it be ironic to have a woman, a black, and a Mormon all in the race this summer? Every bigot from coast to coast would come out of the woodwork.

I've seen a couple of references to this quote. Who said it and what was the context?

The spin on the crying thing has been quite interesting. In the few short hours post-Hillary cry (which it really wasn't crying, mind you), I heard dozens of stories criticizing her and suggesting that it was affecting the polls that were showing she was about to lose to Obama by double digits in NH.

Now that she turned it around and won after all, it had to have been the "crying" right? People felt sorry for her or something.

Crying is getting way too much credit/attention either way because she's a WOMAN. No one cares if Mitt cries. I have read (though not seen it personally), that he's gotten choked up several times already. It's not a story because no one is worried about whether our male candidates will be tough enough or emotionally stable enough to be Pres. (maybe we should be, but it doesn't cut that way)l.

The problem with Hillary's BS emotional outburst, was the REASON for it. She was crying because she thought she was about to lose the NH primary, and see her campaign go down the drain! Come on! She just couldn't bare the thought of Castle Clinton crumbling down. That's the problem.

It's also BS because she is someone that by all accounts has complete control of her emotions. Just days before this episode she attended the funeral of a good friend. She sat there stoic the whole time! Did not shed a tear.
