I have been to every BYU mens home game this year and I have even attended a few womens games. Well all year they have been hyping this game vs Utah for the women that was played tonight and they have been showing ads trying to break the attendance record for a womens game. The old record was around 4,000. Well 6200 people showed up tonight to see the BYU women held scoreless the first 9 minutes of the game, and being down 22-0 at one point. They also saw the women lose by 31 points.

I am guessing 6000 of those people never come back, the other 200 are friends and family who are obligated to go.

Is it true that the Utah team was introduced, then the conference championship banner was raised and then the Y team was introduced?

If so, that would be a lesson from the Joe Glenn school of motivation.

The best women's basketball game I ever saw was a Girls Church game that I reffed when I was 18 years old and a catfight broke out. Clawing, scratching, hairpulling and the whole thing. I called 2 Techs and threw 2 girls out of the game. All the while watching my friends on the chairs doubled over in laughter. That was awesome.....as was the 11-6 final score.
