Is that site the British version of The National Enquirer? The top story of the day was Paul McCartney being seen in the same outfit on consecutive days.

The horror.

Good grief. While it's no secret that sex lives change once you have children and are in a long-term marriage, this woman seems extraordinarily self-absorbed.

Here's a tip, Carrie. This might be part of your problem:

Quote:
So what of her sexual history? It seems that Carrie wasn't always this uninterested in sex. She admits to having 23 lovers before she married.

Interesting comment:

Quote:
What a horrible woman. I'm not talking about her attitude to sex, if that's the "arrangement" that her and her husband have fallen into, that's their issue. To write a book, announce this in public and not sit down and have a straight conversation with her husband is pretty cowardly

She's also fugly. I wonder if that plays any role in her frigid state?

She sounds a lot like the woman who uses children as an excuse to get fat, wear sweats, and get a Rachel "Friends" haircut 7 years after everyone else got one.

Actually, I think the next few paragraphs are more telling. It's clear there are personal issues at play, but she wants to blame her problems on the institution of marriage or on Cosmo.

I find the whole thing terribly sad for her and all the women like her. She says she'll wait ten more years and then leave her husband for sexual adventure and exploit. But frankly, based on the looks of her now, I'm not sure how many offers she'll have by then.

Incidentally, here's her book.

Archaea: I'm pretty sure her husband doesn't mind missing out on the straight-talk, as he's likely been busy elsewhere for years now.

The irony of all this is she claims that she is being "unselfish" but in reality appears complete self absorbed and selfish. Also, sounds like her husband has no spine.

She's going to cause a lot more limp noodles over time if she continues her downhill slide in physical appearance.

I cannot even imagine lying down in the same bed as that beast of a human being. Of course, no pictures of him, so who knows. I can imagine this series of conversations.

"Can you believe guys, they pick apart a women and decide whether they will sleep with a woman based on she looks."

Guys:

"yeah, is there something wrong with that?'

If she wants to recapture the excitement in her marriage, she should try this:

Man, that really takes me back to the honeymoon years.

I think Babs is right:

"I know from taking the kids on holiday on my own once when Hal was working that having sole responsibility for them is exhausting."

Hal was "working".
