Decided to give Big love another shot just out of curiousity. I read somewhere that producers have said that you've got to give it a few episodes to get into it.

I can see where it is going, this polygamist is going to try and seperate himself from the group that is in the compound if you will. The wives are going to grow increasingly bitter towards one another and maybe it will end with him picking up a 4th wife.

There's a lot of LDS terminology in the show, but they don't beat you over the head to the point where you think it is 100% an LDS family...the casual viewer might not know the difference...but I don't see this show lasting more than 2 seasons, if that.

I think they are doing a good job though portraying the polygamist lifestyles... (Compound folks are freaks...)

They show that sex is a vital part of it. I would agree with that.

But it isn't worth having to put up with all of the rest of that crap.

i caught the last half hour of the first episode....

did not catch last nights episode....

does the newest episode show lots of boobs, thats kind of the impression i got from the first weeks episode...

From a Mormon's perspective, it might be interesting if the oldest daughter decides to go LDS. It is implied when she says she doesn't believe in polygamy "either".

We may see the LDS world and the polygamy world clash.

And there was a comment made about the first wife missing the "LDS".

So it will be interesting to see how this happens.

And to see if the other polygamist dudes wives are bi-sexual. That card game got a little wierd....

is roman poisoning bills dad?

are the other women getting freak nasty with each other?

how is bill going to keep peace in his home?

anymore oral is moral scenes?

is the fat chick going to get naked?

is she going to get her car?

how is bill going to keep nicky (i believe thats her name, romans daughter) satisfied?

i am really liking the show...
