Default True story

I go to vote today. My son, age 8, wants to "vote." So he gets one of those fake ballots, takes his vote VERY seriously, pondering for ages before secretly marking his ballot and turning it in. (He was highly offended when I tried to peek.)

He gets an "I voted!" sticker.

We head to karate, still wearing our "I voted!" stickers.

Karate instructor sees the sticker, says to Junior, "you voted?? Who'd you vote for!?"

Junior, being unaware of social protocol, says, proudly, "Obama."

An audible gasp went through the room. The parents immediately began discussing Barack's ties to al Qaeda and whether Obama is related to Saddam Hussein.

Now that I think of it, it's actually pretty impressive Obama only lost the state by 25 points.

Looks like he's going to need those karate skills around those parts...

Tobias: No, it never does. I mean, these people somehow delude themselves into thinking it might, but...but it might work for us.

In your opinion, how much did Mitt's religion have to do with his pitiful perfomance in Oklahoma?

Huckabee's religion had a lot more to do with it. I would say it was not that these voters were turned off by Romney's Mormonism, as it is that they love Huckabee because Huckabee loves Jesus.

These are people who wear Jesus t-shirts and have those little fish bumper stickers. So they're going to rally around someone who represents them, in the same way LDS members would rally around someone who represents them.

Now, Seattle asserts that according to exit polls, Romney never had a chance with Huck voters. I'm curious to see the exit polls that corroborate this.
