Default Questions about the game

I listened on the radio but turned it off when I thought the game was over before the ref conference and the last 0.1 seconds.

1. Was the Plaisted foul I hear about during the fight for the rebound when the ball went out of bounds or was it on the tip/shot with 0.1 seconds?

2. Is the Plaisted taunting controversy limited to a dork on Utefans and the CB reaction or is it legit?

3. How did Jimmer play at the point? It seemed he did OK but then he had two late turnovers.

Good job, Cougs. Way to grit out a tough road win.

Jimmer was a very mixed bag at the point. Frankly, I thought he wasn't particularly good and his key steal late in regulation helped people forget that.

I only watched the end of the game, and the only good thing Jimmer did was make that steal. Turnovers, missed shot, poor distribution. The offense during the OT was TERRIBLE.

Peanut-head was actually yelling at Jimmer to get his head in the game and play smart. When Peanut-head is yelling at you for not playing smart, that generally means you are playing terribly.

Slow, white, average shooter, gutsy and far better than I thought he would be.

I don't sense that your heart is in this.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.

Below avg shooter and marginally better than I thought he would be (considering he's a walk on), but I mostly agree.

Is his injury serious?

I have heard day to day. My guess is he plays sparingly saturday but starts getting more minutes against WYO and TCU building for the MWC tourney.

It will be good to give Jimmer some more time. He could use it.

1. The ball caromed off the backboard/rim. A UNM player sprinted in from the wing, leaped from about 5 feet out, and soared in front of Plaisted as Trent was going for the ball. He got there first, and Trent grabbed his arm instead of the ball, which caused him to topple rather awkwardly, and the following 'take his head off' comments. It wasn't that hard a foul, but he was fouled. I don't know if the guy would have tipped the ball or come down to try to put it back up. Impossible to tell, but I think it likely he was going to try a put-back, maybe a dunk.

2. I thought initially it was pretty immature, but was unaware of the taunting Trent was hearing about his wife. Knowing that, it wasn't a big deal - he ran down the court, and shook his jersey at the crowd. At least, that's what I saw.

3. Well at times, and poorly at times. He made freshman mistakes. I honestly think we would have won in regulation if Murdock hadn't been hurt. I'm looking forward to the upgrade Jimmer will probably be at point in the future, compared to Murdock this year, assuming he takes that role.

Trent had position. The guy ran into Trent. Offensive foul.
