How long did you date your spouse before becoming engaged?
Not how long you two were acquainted, but how long after the first actual date.

Unofficially, 4 months, officially 9 months.

About 10 months from first date to engagement.
We were engaged for about 4 months. We hit our 10 year in July.

Well, this is tricky for us to answer. Our first date was in Dec. 1995 and we were married in Dec. 1998, but two of those three years danimal was on his mission. So, if you counted our first post mission date to engagement, we're talking about two weeks (and 5 of those days were spent with me in California and him in Utah).

The better half decided that it would be significant for us to be married exactly one year after we met. So we did.
We had our 18th anniversary in March.

First met: Sometime in May (or perhaps late April - it was just after BYU's Winter semester ended). We met at the wedding of a mutual friend
First official date: Sometime in June after the friend got back from the honeymoon. Engagement: 4th of July Total dating time before engagement: maybe 3 weeks? Total knowing each other time before engagement: maybe 2 months? Total engagement time: 5 months. It was 5 months too long. I was stupid and wanted to wait until December after Fall Semester was over. Mrs. Meanie wanted to get married right away before Fall Semester started. I should have listened to her. |
