Default Apple is great!

I've stipulated all along that the reason Macs appear "more secure" is only because virus writers haven't really bothered attacking them yet, because such a small percentage of computers are Apple.

Looks like they may be changing their focus a bit.

Apple virus

not that I disagree, but I'm assuming that you didn't notice that the article you linked to is from 2004?

They actually are going to be changing their target a bit with their new campaign focued on marketing the Macs. Here is the new TV media that launched yesterday.

http://www.apple.com/getamac/ads/

I really like the "Network" and "Viruses" spots.

That's what I'm talking about.... such smugness.

They do realize that by heavily marketing they'll just influence hackers to write more viruses for Mac, right?

I've used PCs for over 15 years now, and I've never once had a problem with a virus or spyware program.

If you aren't stupid with the internet, you can avoid 99% of the problems out there without breaking a sweat.
