SeattleUte has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Default Is this what's going on?

I just ran into a work colleague who is an Obama supporter and discussed the impact Palin has had on his psyche. He said that previously he saw McCain as old, broken down, bent, monotone and addled. Now he sees him as a wiley, verile, ageless old codger who got himself a gorgeous, poetic, bionic superhero of a trophy wife. My friend walked off shaking his head and saying, "I just can't get that out of my head."

Camille Paglia seems to have had much the same experience.

Now that you mention it, I can see how this would be of interest to you.

.... but this isn't anything that would offend your sensibilities as an enlightened feminist, is it? LOL This is John's third trophy score. Wife #1 was a beauty queen, Cindy was a hottie with big $$, Palin is maybe the hottest of them all if she score's him the White House. Underneath it all, he's still the testosterone-laced Admiral's son, temper included.

(I think any guy would like to spend quality time in the oval office alone with the former mayor of Wasilla. It would be like JFK doing Marilyn Monroe in the White House. Who wouldn't want that on their belt?)

Too old for my tastes but to each his own.

Frankly I'd rather spend time on a beach in a land far away with some hot lady young enough to keep me young and make others jealous than be pining away in the WhiteHouse.com.

I'll bet you 10 bucks McCain and Palin have already hooked up.

Totally! Did you see them hug after her speech? How they were all awkward and avoided eye contact? That had seemed-like-a-good-idea-at-the-time written all over it.

It was bound to happen.

She wanted to singlehandedly stimulate his campaign.

He wanted to see her moose pelt that everyone in DC had been talking about.

I heard they brought her in to help him raise his poll.

If elected, Palin would definitely NOT be McCain's first lady.

There is nothing necessarily sexist in the concept of a trophy wife, especially a can do, powerful, renaissance trophy wife who spouts beautiful words. On the other hand, four of our five resident liberals have just committed grave sexism. As if McCain only picked Palin because she looked good.
