Why do all the GAs have

helmet hair? I blame Elder Ballard for starting the hairspray downpour, but this past conference was especially striking how helmety all the hair looked. Also, did you notice that they all had make-up (foundation) on their foreheads?

This is consistent with the new photos for the apostles, which are so photoshopped they'd make Cosmo proud.

I don't like these developments.

I also watched almost all of Sat. Growing up, I NEVER watched conference on Sat.

I've already been down the road of conference skipping. I am reformed.

My Saturday conference protocol (passed down from my father) is to listen to it on KSL while working in the garage or in the yard. You're really not listening or getting anything out of it, but at least it's on and you're covered to some degree.

Any speaker in General Conference (man or women) gets makeup applied by a professional makeup person before the session. Given the fact that conference is now broadcast in HD, I can't say I blame them. Without makeup, HD would show off every every wart, blotch, and zit on their face.
