Cali Coug has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Default Election night prediction thread:

Predict how you think the electoral college will go, what the popular vote will do, and how many seats the Dems get in the Senate.

My guesses:

Electoral college: Obama- 378, McCain- 160
Popular vote: Obama- 53%, McCain- 47%
Senate: Dems: 59 seats (including independents)

Obama will win popular vote.

Obama should win electoral college.

Dems will catch a break and retain majority in House only because this is an anti-Bush/anti-GOP election. If it was based on opinion of job, they'd get blown out.

My prediction is that the wage earners are the big losers on Tuesday. The winners will be those who are awaiting a handout.

I hope you are right. Who will they blame in 2010 when congress is up for re-election. The Dems only rallying cry is Bush, Bush, Bush......now they won't be able to blame the mess on him or the GOP.

I think it's a cleansing that needs to take place.

For Tuesday we're expecting a high voter turnout followed by unprecedented gloating from CaliCoug and bitter doomsday commentary from Archaea. Shortly thereafter, expect to see widespread weeping and gnashing of teeth amongst the Cougarboarders, and a brief rally in the markets.

I agree, 2008 is just an opportunity to be successful in 2010, but the proof' will be in the pudding. Bush is a convenient & politically expedient punching bag, whose scapegoat value will sink pretty quickly, more quickly than Bill C.

I don't see a rally in the markets, i see a brief decline. I will turn off politics until the media turns on Obama. I hope they some day feast upon his innards and chew on his political bones. When that comes, I'll have my revenge.
