Default Could Collie make the Tech starting receiver crew?

I don't believe he has the necessary speed but maybe so.

Yes he could and he would start next to Crabtree. He runs as good of routes as anyone in college football and thats what makes him so effective you dont need speed to be a great receiver. Cris Carter ran a 4.6 40 and had over 1000 catches in his career. Jerry Rice was not fast at all and is the greatest receiver in NFL history.

I'm not in a position to judge how precisely he runs his routes, but he is strong and doesn't get knocked off the ball too often. Crabtree is fabulous and Britton or however it's spelled is pretty darn spectacular. That one receiver for Texas is outstanding as well.

I agree... IMO Collie is the best WR in the country... Crabtree is good but I think Collie is better. That one handed catch was unbelievable

Well I wouldnt go that far. But Collie is in my opinion right near the top.

He leads the nation in receiving yards.

I wouldn't place him above Crabtree, or the UT receiver or that one for OU. There are some great receivers out there. Casteel ain't too bad either.

receivers and staying inbounds and running in for the TD was a sight to behold.
