Default Demographic smack BYU vs. Utah

Brigham Young, as we mentioned, would be an attractive-enough addition for a conference like the Big 12. With about 700,000 fans, it ranks behind 42 automatic-qualifier schools — but ahead of 27 of them.

speaks volumes about the religious bigotry in the PAC.

Big 12 won't eliminate BYU because of religion.

All 3 of my younger siblings went to Cal and at Cal they were very upset a Utah-quality academic school was included.

LOL. Only you could make Utah's stunningly pedestrian fan base size a BYU-negative.

Good find, Waters. Interesting info.

Ohio State ranks #1 for having the most fans? I think I just threw up.

It would be interesting to see the average results of this survey over several years time. It makes sense that currently, Auburn has slightly more fans than Alabama or Florida, but I suspect those numbers would have been different three years ago. Not largely different, but likely with Florida the SEC leader.

I would take all those numbers with a grain of salt.

it's hard to believe that Oklahoma wouldn't be higher. I live in the Dallas area, and Oklahoma seems to be more popular here than A&M.
