All this talk of Cougarboard has me thinking
All this talk of Cougarboard has me thinking that I might create a user name and try to post some over there. Unless there is a part of this site that I am missing, there isn't much traffic over here. Everybody over here is pretty cool though, esepcially once I figured out what not to say and call people.
How many of you post on Cougarboard and how much more time would you say you spend there than on Cougarguard? Thanks, Tyronne |

Why don't you go over to Cougarboard and 'start' an account over there. You are SOO up to something. Can't you see?? This is NOT the sort of thing someone would just say. You have to think more about your dialogue if you ever hope to have a convincing voice. There is a secret category for writers on this site. Maybe you should apply there and submit your posts for workshopping before you send them to everyone at large. |

Just when one ass, err... stonewall... claims that he's going to be leaving, another one pops up.
Why does everybody think that I'm up to something? Honestly. I had 4 or 5 people ask me if I was the ass Ninjalingo and I think people know that I'm not him. I ask aobut the other site because there is not much traffic here. Everybody talks about that one and I've browsed it a few times but never actually posted there. There seems to be more traffic there though. I figured I'd try it out and se. |

Your name, TyronneBiggums, combined with that picture of Dave Chappelle, combined with your faux attitude... they all add up to some white kid trying to fake 'black,' and in the context of this board, that means you are trying to distance your real identity from the board persona. But you overcompensated, and it comes across as forced. Also, from the moment you have come here, too many of your posts have been about your relationship to this group of alleged strangers. The manner in which you have concerned yourself with what people think of you, and what you think of other people, suggests a greater familiarity with this site than you are letting on. This preoccupation with what others think of you is not normal for someone new to a site like this. Your tendency to give people nicknames. To say things like, "I like this dude. He is all right." You would have to be up to something to say something like that. Moreover, NO ONE just shows up to this site without some kind of history that is familiar to someone else here. But you did. It is a giveaway. Don't take it personally. I'm not trying to be an 'ass.' I just want to help you hone your character a little . Last edited by Robin; 06-27-2006 at 11:41 PM. |

Well, somebody just asked me if I'm you, so maybe they don't think that you're as bright as you think you are.
I'm not black. I like Dave Chapelle. TryonneBiggums was my favorite skit. That and the Lil Jon and Rick James ones... and the R Kelly music videos where they made fun of him. All great. I like rap music. Pac is my favorite. I am who I am, I'm not trying to be a fake person or whatever. I'm really getting tired of being called names that I"m not, but whatever. Seriously, what do I have to do to prove that I'm not Lingo or Robin or anybody else? |

For example, I am an architect who lives in the middle of South Central L.A. Some people thought I was full of crap, so for grins I produced evidence. If you want people to believe that you are a real person, tell us who you are, what brought you here, what you do for a living, and then produce some evidence to back it up. Easy to do if you are for real. |

I agree with Robin, I had to be straight up honest with who I was:
A tall, physically fit white male who is married to a smoking hot wife. I like to talk long walks on the beach, I can do many different forms of dance and I like to eat my meat raw. I am worth, though I have lost count, well over $43 million. I have homes in London, DC, San Diego and Munich. Until I told people that, nobody took me seriously. Now they do...in fact, Lenny Gomes is a hired employee of mine and his full time job is to make sure that the tires in my cars are full. I pay him $17,000 a year. |

There is no way you pay Lenny Gomes that much and you know it.

Okay, here goes then.
I don't think that I have to give my name, because nobody really uses their real name. I like Chapelle, and Biggums was one of my favorite skits. I went to school at Weber State and graduated with a degree in business. I work in an office in Salt Lake. Right now I'm an assistant to a manager in my office training to be a manager, so pretty much I do whatever is asked, a lot of paperwork, etc. What brought me here, I was walking through the office and saw the site on one of my co-workers screens with this site on it and thought that I might want to check it out. There are probably 500 or so people in my office, so I don't know who he is. I like to talk sports or just shoot the breeze, whatever. If you really think that I'm somebody else, I'll leave and won't bother you again, if that's really what everybody wants. I'd probably get more work done that way though. Whatever is fine. |
