"My good friend in Bountiful lives on a cul-de-sac where the cable line was not included. He has to use satellite to get TV. All of his neighbors up to the cul-de-sac have cable, and therefore Comcast and therefore The mtn. He is a huge booster for BYU, donating gobs of money each year. He is livid. He had to travel to his mother's place in Jordan each week to watch the BYU games. He is beside himself and starting to rethink his commitment to the BYU sports program if they can't deliver the games to his home, like before.

No, but a very similar situation. It pisses me off, but wouldn't make me change my commitment. However I know people in my neighborhood who have become less interested and changed their level of commitment.

The "donates gobs of money" bit should have tipped you off. I'm way too cheap to donate gobs of money to anything.

It has changed my commitment.

Before Crowton and during first year, I had season tickets and was a CC. I watched every single game, even after attending them though I had to drive five hours to see them.

But after Crowton, and now the Mountain, I find myself less interested. Fortunately, Cox Cable was just added so I will be able to see them again and may repurchase season tickets soon.
