Moreau won today on Ventoux. Wouldn't it be interesting to see a renaisxnce in French cycling after all the recent admissions of drug use and a potential decrease in drugs in the peloton?

I want a renaissance of American cycling. Try as I might, I cheer for the home team, and against almost everybody else.

It started with me during the Mexico Summer Games, although I hated that black power demonstration during the medal ceremony. Ever since then I've loved every single event the USA does well in.

I don't WANT the french to do well, but they have been claiming to be the only clean riders ever since L'Affaire Festina and the follow-on Fench domestic testing standards and if Moreau and freres suddenly went from inconcsistent also-rans to stars it might suggest they were right.
