Cougarguard's mission
Could it be fairly said that Cougarguard is a place of gathering for people damaged by religion?

This could be a good board competition. Who has been injured the most by religion?
As for me, my list is pretty unimpressive. I sprained my ankle pretty bad at in church hoops once; I almost got my junk bitten off by a dog on my mission (I will never again urinate in a dark Taiwanese alley!!!); and I got offended once by a member of the SP when he didn't think my use of MC Hammer's hymn "Pray" was appropriate for an EQ meeting. |

And I was emotionally scarred when my partner failed to pull her weight in the Sunday School three-legged-race and we ended up coming in second. Took years of counseling to get past that one. Oh, and my backpack was stolen on the church ski trip. Cost me twenty five bucks to replace it! |

Glad to know Mormon youth aren't the only ones who have to play those crappy games. Three legged races, potato sack races and similar games all suck.

I voted no, but am willing to change should Tal Bachman show up. He risked his life.

Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!! Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith. |

I broke my foot playing church basketball. My wife thought I was faking and told me to buck up and mow the lawn. She felt pretty sheepish when I came home from the doctor's office the next day with a cast on my foot.

My family jewels nearly atrophied thanks to the "wisdom" of chastity that hung like a choking fog over the girls of the greater Provo area.
