Default women wearing skimpy things

Here's the riddle with which I wrestle every summer: do women wear skimpy things to attract our deliberately fleeting gaze or to be cool?

Way too many of these guys never made it out of high school.

In more ways than one.

Why care, just enjoy.

On a side note, I remember some runner asking a female runner why she wore a certain attire, to which she responded, "because it enhances my butt and makes guy look at it."

Most girls I've discussed this with say the same thing: they know it will make guys look at them, and that makes them feel sexy.

This post is sexist. It suggests that women are inferior as they wear skimpy clothing because they don't know how to work an air conditioner or they can't live without the attention of men.

Here's a memo to all of you stuck in the stone age; Women wear skimpy clothing because they want to! They don't need a reason!

On the contrary, there are all kinds of utilitarian aspects to "skimpy" clothing.
For example, if you wear a tech tank and running shorts to Home Depot, it turns out it's a lot easier to find a helpful employee when you need one. (And I must say the customer service attitude around there has markedly improved lately.)

Sounds like the excess back hair and your boys sticking out of the bottom of yours shorts just didn't do for them.
